Why I Like Andrew
Whatever differences we have on, well, just about everything, Andrew Sullivan is still really good at getting to the heart of a situation. On the debates:
you don't want to be the president who is forced to say, "Of course I know Osama bin Laden attacked us." Kerry did well to tie. If the USA soccer team goes to Spain and gets a draw, thats a moral victory for the USA since Spain had the home pitch. We need more soccer analogies in politics anyway. Also it is ironic that with all the 21st century techo-savvy of this race (fund raising and voter registration on the net), it looks to me like the decisive factor will be which organization gets more of its supporters to the polls. Thats a factor left over from the 19th century - Viva la difference!Post a Comment |
