Greetings and felicitations from Detroit, Michigan.

My last few trips, I've been able to get away with only bringing carry-on bags, but not this time. I forgot how long it takes to check baggage. Northwest took the opportunity to screw me out of fifty bucks—it's what capitalists do—and then gave me a three hour layover in Detroit, which is just mean-spirited.

An auspicious beginning, don't you think?

SL via Detroit? 3 hour layover in Detroit? That is just cruel!

Northwest airlines blows..
they left me in mephis for the night, lost my luggage and delayed 5 out of my last 6 flights. the only thing they offered me in return is more frequent air miles so i can do it all again.
(and yea i'll use them)
