Deaniacs
From Tim Russo's recent post on Howard Dean's trip to Armenia:
The fact that Howard Dean is a Dashnak guest in Armenia is bizarre, and should pose Mr. Dean with some very uncomfortable questions, first among them being why the FUCK is Howard Dean coddling with electoral fraud professionals? As Katy at Blogrel wonders, I doubt the man has any idea what he's gotten himself into.
Those of us who love Howard Dean have a very special sort of sigh we make when he does something exceeding bone-headed. It turns out that Dean is going with Los Angeles City Councilman Eric Garcetti to sign a "sister city" agreement between Yerevan and L.A.'s Little Armenia neighborhood. According to Garcetti, Dean is "a friend, [and] he's going to come along as the chair of the DNC." So, apparently, he really doesn't know what he's getting himself into.

sigh...

By the way, the Patriarch of the American Aremenian Orthodox Church lived with an Armenian family (the Yagoobians) next door to me in Detroit in the 50s - Guy

"He doesn't know what he's getting himself into"???? What is that supposed to mean? The man went on a trip to a country which has interesting relations with the US and an interested ethnic Armenian population in the US as well. He met many government officials and today goes to Tblisi to do more of the same. So what?

As for your bold quote about "electoral fraud professionals", you or Tim can back that up with ONE reference. Go on. Just one.

Tim my boy, I hope you’re not slowly growing anti-Armenian. I mean let’s face it, your anti-Armenian-Diaspora blog-post the other day made me truly believe that you have become some kind of evil vendetta against both the Armenian & Jewish Diaspora communities. Now, back to this concocted issue…..since when did the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) become a authentic Dashnak organization? Who gave you this narrow-minded information? Let me guess, was it Onnik, Ara Manoogian or better yet; Edik; the fastidious conspiracy theorists at HETQ.am. Alas we find the Armenian blog community antagonists. Get your facts straight Timmy boy.
