The President made a telephone call this morning to a group of anti-abortion protestors, saying:

We're vigorously promoting parental notification laws, adoption, teen abstinence, crisis pregnancy programs, and the vital work of our faith-based groups. We're sending a clear message to any woman facing a crisis pregnancy: We love you, we love your child, and we're here to help you.

We're from the government, and we're here to help. Heh.

...help take away your freedom of choice
...help listen in to your phone calls
...help keep the right to mary for only a man and a woman
...help send more of your fellow citizens off to war
...help turn a blind eye to the needy in the US
...help oil and big business stay profitable
...help take "The Book Of Daniel" off the air but let Pat and the 700 club continue on
... etc, etc, etc.

man, that list just goes on and on!
If you ask me.. and of course you do, I say we've had enough of the government's help in keeping the irresponsible whining into their microwave tv dinners, sitting on their asses watching the local news while complaining (to themselves, really) about everything that's "wrong" in the world and screaming at Big Brother to "fix it." That's a good idea.. we should start getting people "FIXED" maybe that would keep the bad people away!!!

I (6 months pregnant) once approached a pro-life women standing outside planned parenthood with a large sign of a graphic photograph of an aborted fetus.. (her 4 year old son sat in her car) I asked why she would expose these images to her young son, why wouldn’t she help council women about safe sex before hand if she felt the need to help them instead of standing on a soap box belittling them as they try and find help..she was unreceptive and it ended with us both saying in union “I feel sorry for your child” I told her I was going to show up at her next barbeque with photos of slaughtered cows..
Still shaking my head in seattle
